![]() ![]() Watching 100 goblins fall to their death for the first time may be the high point in my Gnomoria history thus far. My stupid gnomes kept wanting to go out via the maze and up the enemy stairs. Suppose I could just make a crusher to handle any "overflow". I'm kind of glad I did because I still ended up with a few raiders that made it through the whole mess tho they died to my traps in the maze underneath and would have been cut down by my soldiers had they not been eviserated. I went a little bigger than your trap Arryu and added a 4th hatch drop. Forgot to hit pause right away so some of them got butchered but when I did look it was (26) 2-headed ogre corpses and (72) goblin corpses. Sent a 5k insult and got a visit from about 100 or so goblins and ogres. In this episode we fight a group of goblins who brought an ogre this time. I'd like to be able to tell which goblin was the biggest threat and who took them down.ĭid some testing on my real kingdom. Gnomoria - Episode 50 - Placing Traps - YouTube Episode 50 of Gnomoria. Once they're dead they're just "goblins corpse." It would be nice to have the distinction, especially in the combat logs. โพสต์ดั้งเดิมโดย Arryu:Goblin corpses don't have raider or fighter statuses. Ironically, almost all of them suicided while building this. My starter gnomes all had 20k in each stat so stuff was insta-build. It's funny that I built this on a "creative" map since I wanted to experiment. It's basically a one lever to disable almost everything setup tho in hindsite I could just toss one right off the power supply since no power = harmless trap. You can still cut power to the 2-way or lone-mech as well tho if you have hatch traps off, toggling those levers does nothing. I may revise that but it works for now and saves me levers. While the lever is not pulled, the main entrance is open, and the trap system isn't powered (so if a Gnome happens to. When the lever is pulled, the main gate powers up, and power is sent to the trap-door trap. ![]() Main change is that I put a single lever to kill off the hatch traps, the lone mech wall for friendlies, and the 2-way. The gatehouse main entrance will have a simple mechanical wall, while a side entrance uses a wall/pit trap system and a smaller door. Axles go to all pressure plates with the exception of the one lone mech wall. The "wiring" really is pretty straightforward. Wanted to post a good clear shot with all the axles in place. The core is pretty much identical tho I think my axles vary slightly. This is my shameless clone of Arryu's trap. If he goes back to plate the walls raise and he's stuck no?īonus screenshot for anyone else following along at home. OOOOOOOOOMPMOOOOOĪt the P the walls raise and mob has to turn to go towards hatch as path is blocked. I think I'm missing something with the AI pathing from the enemy entrance or I don't have something wired right. Step on plate, hatch closes and mech wall goes up, steps onto hatch which then loses power from the plate and opens thus dropping the mob. Sorter opens and mob paths through the three different pit traps. Going forward from the main/friendly double stair entrance makes sense. Plate raises both walls so he turns and walks towards the first hatch which is open. Goes up stairs and over a mech wall onto a plate. My quandry at this point is the enemy entrance.Įnemy comes in via underground, I get that part. I just built it identical to the one you did based on screenshots and the Google Sheet diagram. I built the whole contraption and have it all wired up, I think. You need to build a tinkerer workshop who will work on inventing trap items which you can then build in another workshop to build mechanisms, and from those then traps. So back at this again. When do the baddies attack? How do I use traps. (matter of taste, eventually more expensive beds should give better sleep, not yet implemented though) Whats the difference between the four poster bed and the normal one? They cost the same. hint: Proportional to the value of your dining room, which you can improve with statues and higher value materials/stone walls) Can female and male dwarfs have kids? Is so how? (not yet, you get new gnomes though. What things are good to sell from the market guy and which ones buy? (to sell luxury items to the merchant, no clue which items the market guy offers) What are the jewels for? (to sell to the merchant) What are the trinkets for? (to sell to the merchant) ![]()
